What does a typical month look like?
Your Rosie hours can be used whenever you want. Most families choose a weekly schedule and Rosie will match you to a consistent Pro whose services and availability fit your family. You build a plan within Rosie, and Rosie manages the accepted sessions for you. Your schedule is confirmed when the booking terms are agreed and accepted by Pros.
What are weekly sessions?
Scheduled in-home sessions with a consistent Pro, usually following a similar plan week to week. They can combine household help and childcare, with the tasks and schedule agreed before booking.
What can a Rosie Pro help my family with?
Rosie Pros provide childcare and help around the house with the stuff that piles up—dishes, laundry, tidying, the works. Tell us what would make life easier. We’ll clarify the tasks, care needs and qualifications needed before a booking is accepted. Specialized care, child transportation or additional household work needs to be expressly agreed rather than added unexpectedly during a session.
How is Rosie different from hiring a babysitter or nanny?
Babysitting and nanny arrangements can be occasional, part-time or ongoing. Rosie helps you find a Pro, build a care plan, and manage scheduling and payments in one place. Rosie contracts with your family and separately engages the Pro for bookings they accept. You share your child’s needs and the care outcomes you’re looking for; the Pro brings professional judgment to the ordinary methods of providing that care, within the agreed scope and safety standards.
What makes a good Rosie Pro, and how are Pros reviewed?
Strong Pros bring real childcare experience—paid or within their own family—along with warmth, judgment and follow-through. Attention to detail and an efficient approach also help when supporting a busy home. Rosie’s review process includes experience and skills review, background and reference checks using the required lawful authorizations, relevant qualification assessments, and applicable shadow sessions or safety and platform orientation. Required credentials, such as CPR or First Aid where relevant, must be in place for the work being offered. Screening supports the review process but cannot provide guarantees.
What does Rosie cost?
Membership is monthly - there is no long term contract. You can pause or cancel as your needs change.
Can I book same-day care?
Yes! It's not guaranteed, but we have fulfilled 99% of all same-day bookings - even within 1 hour!
Can I book or view my Pro beforehand?
Use the Rosie app to book, manage your sessions and view your Pro’s information once they’re confirmed to your session. You can also text the Rosie Concierge for help finding a fit or asking questions about a proposed booking.
Can we work with the same Pro?
That’s the goal for weekly sessions. Rosie looks for a Pro whose services and schedule fit your family, but a particular Pro or schedule isn’t guaranteed until the booking is confirmed. Pros may serve other families or have other commitments. Once they accept your booking, its agreed commitments apply.
How do we choose a schedule and share our family's needs?
Tell us when you’d like help and what you’d like help with. Rosie looks for a suitable match, and the schedule and tasks are confirmed in the app before the Pro accepts. Share routines, allergies, emergency contacts and other information needed for safe care. If your needs change, update directly in the app so any changes to the tasks or schedule can be agreed before the additional work begins.

If you're in the Greater Seattle area, you can start your intake today! Timing depends on suitable Pro availability, the agreed scope and completion of any required qualification checks. Rosie will help you explore a fit and confirm the booking details before care begins.
